Welcome to Secret Island - a small, family run , eco-friendly artisan gift shop in the heart of Wiveliscombe, Somerset.
We are part shop, part gallery and part workshop. You will find carefully chosen gifts from local artists and makers, alongside things we make ourselves on our in-house loom named Alan, our Victorian sock machine named Mathilda or our table loom.

Our eco values
We don't like plastic packaging and source as ethically and locally as we can. We collect old bedding and textiles from the local community, that would otherwise go to landfill, and turn them into our zero waste rag rugs.
